Laura Kay (Richmond) Moler, 54, of Hillsboro, died on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at 5:46 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Irving Century House. Cremation rites were accorded. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.

Mrs. Moler was born June 14, 1965, in Hillsboro, to Carroll J. "C.J." and Martha (Davis) Richmond. She married Michael Moler on Nov. 16, 2013, in Hillsboro, and he survives.

During her career, she worked at Shell Gas Station in Hillsboro, and was also a stay at home mother and grandmother.

A Hillsboro native, Mrs. Moler loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, camping, fishing and just being outdoors.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother of Hillsboro; children, Kaylin L. Richmond of Hillsboro and Jonathon Richmond of Smithboro; four grandchildren, Arik, Ira, Nicolai and Arya Richmond; and siblings, Rebecca Ann (husband LeRoy) Hartel, Lonnie Dane Morgan, Judy DeLane (husband Charlie) Goad, Terry Lee (wife Tammy) Richmond and Jane (husband Don) Murphy.

Mrs. Moler was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Peggy Sue (Morgan) Joyce.
