Leora Luella "Faye" Kirkpatrick, 82, of Harvel, died on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 20, at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church near Raymond. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Harvel Cemetery near Harvel. The family is being assisted by Hough Funeral Home in Raymond.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born March 25, 1941, the daughter of Leo Carol and Bernice Nora Miller Wells in Orel township in Wayne County. She married Marion F. Kirkpatrick on June 1, 1958 in Fairfield and he survives.
She enjoyed bowling, painting, ceramics, dancing, horseback riding, camping and traveling with her husband in their RV. Family gatherings were important to Mrs. Kirkpatrick, always making room for everyone, and for the past 16 years her and her family went on an annual camping/canoe trip on the Black River and enjoyed being with everyone.
She was of the Christian faith and had attended the Raymond Christian Church in Raymond.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Kirkpatrick is survived by her children Doug(companion Joan Hobson) Kirkpatrick of Raymond, Troy(Julie) Kirkpatrick of Pawnee, Ron (Risa) Kirkpatrick of Loami, Tonya (Tom) Durbin of Morrisonville, Sheila (Jerry) Springmeyer of Benld, Kara (Ryan) Dorsey of Moweaqua and Kevin Kirkpatrick of Morrisonville; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and her four brothers and two sisters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Brad; a grandson Beau; and two brothers.
