Leroy Eugene Landreth, 89, of Alton, died on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at 6:50 a.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy & Senior Care in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento. Graveside services will follow, beginning at 1 p.m. at the cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Brewer officiating.

Mr. Landreth was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Alton, to Roy and Jenny (Grady) Landreth. He married Hazel Belle (Gill) Pastrovich Landreth on Nov. 4, 1978, in Alton, and she survives.

He attended Alton Grade School and later obtained his GED.

Mr. Landreth was employed as a steelworker at Laclede Steel in Alton.

A member of the Free Masons, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and trapping.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Landreth is survived by two stepsons, Sam (Marilyn) Pastrovich III of Litchfield and Steve (Pam) Pastrovich of Slippery Rock, PA; five stepgrandchildren, Erin (Keith) Linnenbringer of Clayton, MO, Ryan (Sarah) Pastrovich of Oak Park, Eric (Leah) Pastrovich of Walshville, Casey (Thomas) McManus of Manhattan, NY, and Jacob (fiancee Mindy Sher) Pastrovich of Brooklyn, NY; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother.
