Leta Lavon Logsdon, 89, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Logsdon was born July 28, 1930, to Doss and Lela (Taylor) Johnson. She married Charles Logsdon, Jr., on Sept. 6, 1947, and he preceded her in death.
Hough and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She and her husband Charles owned and operated the family farm.
She is survived by her children, LaVonda Sue Beams of Rochester, Ann (Ralph) Garner of Girard, Charles David "Butch" Logsdon of Sikeston, MO, Loretta Lynn (Tim) Wilson of Auburn, Lisa Kaye Gripp of Girard and Cathy Diane Kaliyan of Irving; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Dorville (Zelda) Johnson of Wood River; and one sister.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, DJ, Dalton and Don Johnson; two sisters, LaVerne Lipe and LaVada Porter; and two sons-in-law, Steve Gripp and Van Kaliyan.
