Linzy Adair Michael, 46, of Nokomis died at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael will be Thursday, June 30, in the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Elliottstown. Visitation will begin at Meyer's at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1969, in Pana to Herschel Woody and Francis Anita (Adair) Michael. A 1988 Nokomis High graduate, he earned a business management degree from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield. He farmed, owned the Michael Family pressure washing business and had worked for Aumann Auction, Inc., for the past 12 years. He also bought and sold farm equipment.

A member of the Grace Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed attending auctions and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his fiancee; Sonia Davis of Nokomis; three children, Jessi Michael (9), Haily Michael (8) and Roy Michael (6); a son expected to be born on Oct. 16, 2016; brothers Dennis Michael of Tallahassee, FL, Herschel W. Michael, Jr., of Jacksonville and Lyle Michael of Nokomis; and sisters Amy Kennedy of Greenville, Annette Michael-Jefferson of Springfield, Lilyen Masscellino of Buffalo, NY, and Theta Vick of Palmer, TX.

Mr. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
