Lorene M. (Bergman) DeVaisher, 88, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A private family funeral service will be held. Burial will be held in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. DeVaisher was born April 18, 1932, in Rountree Township, to Frederick W., Sr. and Marie (Jannsen) Bergman. She married Calvin Eugene “Gene” DeVaisher on July 14, 1950, at Harvel Trinity Lutheran Church, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1996.
She worked at Brown Shoe Factory and Roller Derby, both in Litchfield.
Mrs. DeVaisher is survived by one son, Dennis DeVaisher of Belleville; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frederick Bergman, Jr. of Irving, John Bergman of Palmer; and Kenneth Bergman of Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Rick and David DeVaisher; three brothers, Dale, Harold and Carl Bergman; and three sisters, Meta Jane Bergman in infancy, Doris Weller and Arlene Bell.
