Lorraine “Lolly” A. (Biver) Scobbie, 94, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Private family funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 30, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville. Burial will follow at Green Mount Cemetery in Belleville.

Mrs. Scobbie was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Belleville, to Walter and Nellie (Kirk) Biver. She married Donald Scobbie on Sept. 13, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2012.

During her career, she worked in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s School in Belleville. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Belleville, where she belonged to the Quilters Club.

Mrs. Scobbie was an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Louann) Scobbie of Litchfield, Keith (Susan) Scobbie of Glen Carbon and Richard Scobbie of St. Jacob; seven grandchildren, Faith and Deanna Scobbie, Matthew (Caryl) Scobbie, David (Samantha) Scobbie, Kylie Suter, Allison (Kyle) Lietner and Benjamin (Jamie) Scobbie; five great-grandchildren, Gunner Scobbie, Lane Suter, Dylan Suter, Cole Suter and Emersyn Scobbie.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Scobbie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Raymond Biver; two sisters, Victoria Verges and Mary Wysong; and daughter-in-law, Karen Scobbie.
