Louise Carroll, 88, of Nokomis, died on Thursday, June 27, 2019, surrounded by her family at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Pana.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 30, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Burial will be held next week in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Riverton.

Mrs. Carroll was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Gillette, WY, to Christian J. and Helen (Michels) Storm. She married James B. Carroll on April 15, 1951, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Nokomis, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1999.

During her career, she served as an administrative professional, and was a member of B&PW and proud member of the former St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Nokomis.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her daughters, Martha Rosenberger of Ramsey and Laura (Al) Harrison of Fillmore; grandchildren, Cassie Rosenberger of St. Louis, MO, Christa Rosenberger of Collinsville, Jennifer (Seth) Jonas of Nokomis and Trisha (Kyle) Schweizer of Hillsboro; and great-grandchildren, Reaghan and Kannon Jonas and Drew and Koen Schweizer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild, Elijah Rosenberger; and son-in-law, Meridith Rosenberger.

Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fillmore.
