The Lynch Motorsports team continued its season on Aug. 3 and Aug. 10, as brothers Nathan and Brady Lynch raced in Brownstown and Macon.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, Nathan Lynch overcame a tough setup in practice and qualifying, where he would finish fifth in the first heat, to take ninth in the 17-car feature race at the Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown.
On Saturday, Aug. 10, both brothers were in action at the Macon Speedway. Both driver's would be in the second heat for qualifying, with Brady finishing third and Nathan finishing fifth. The feature would be a learning experience for the pair though as Nathan was collected in a wreck and did not finish, while Brady ran fifth, but failed the post race inspection.
Fellow Hillsboro driver Kevin Rench joined Lynch Motorsports at both stops. Rench ran sixth in his heat race at Brownstown, then finished tenth in the feature. At Macon, he would take two DNFs (did not finish) in his heat race and in the feature.
Mt. Olive's Tim Hancock, Sr. would win the feature in Macon, beating out Rob Timmons of Centralia and Kyle Helmick of Smithton.
