Margaret Ann Angle, 80, of Raymond, died Friday morning, Jan. 19, 2024, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services for Mrs. Angle will be held Friday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at A Community of Faith Church in Raymond. Her nephew, Kevin Tenpenny, will officiate. Burial will be in the Raymond Cemetery in Raymond. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Church on Thursday, Jan. 25. The family suggests memorials to the Raymond Cemetery or the Raymond Harvel Ambulance. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Angle was born in Litchfield on Nov. 4, 1943, the daughter of Theodore “Pete” and Temperance H. (Morris) Crocks. She married Wayne L. Angle on Sept. 9, 1967, in Litchfield, and he survives.
Mrs. Angle had worked for 28 years at Bandy Chevrolet Co. before it closed in 1992. She then went to work for Bruce Webb Insurance were she has worked the last 30 years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian faith and belonged to A Community of Faith Church in Raymond, where she had previously served as the treasurer, church elder and on the building committee. She served over 40 years on the Raymond Cemetery Board, where she and her husband also mowed and maintained the graves. She was a member of the Raymond Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and the Raymond Ladies Bowling League.
Mrs. Angle enjoyed baking and doing crafts with her grand daughter, spending time with her family and her grand puppies, Rhys and Cadie. She loved tending to her flower garden and sunflowers, and watching the different birds that would visit but especially the cardinals and humming birds.
Mrs. Angle is survived by her daughter, Shelly Ann Crawford of Raymond; a brother, Glen (Faye) Crocks of Dresden, TN; two grandchildren, Kayla (Will) Adkins of Hillsboro and Kendall (Ashley) Crawford of Waggoner; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Frank, Dan, John and James Crocks; six sisters, Louise Sacha, Sally Wood, Hazel Westbrook, Stella Kahl and twin infant sisters, Mary and Alice.
