Margaret “Rocky” Bichon, 77, of Coffeen, died on Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home.
No services are planned. Hough-Dean is assisting the family.
Ms. Bichon was born on Sept. 29, 1948, in Memphis, TN, to Myron and Theresa (Simpson) Bichon. She graduated from St. Anne Catholic School in Memphis, TN, and attended the University of Memphis. She spent some time working as a teacher’s aide, but she was primarily a homemaker, caring for her family.
Ms. Bichon was a member of the African Violet Society of America, and she took great pleasure in researching genealogy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she was a member. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Senior Center in Hillsboro.
Ms. Bichon is survived by her two sons, William A. Hope of Memphis, TN, and Daniel (Cindy) Hope of Coffeen; brother, Myron (Vickie) Bichon of Ramer, TN; and four grandchildren, Brandon Hope of Memphis, TN, Makayla Hope of Myrtle Beach, SC, Maddellynne Hope of Coffeen and Mason Hope of Coffeen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marie A. Wood; her brother, Michael Bichon, and two grandchildren, Joseph Wood and Marvin A. Wood.
