Marian E. (Stone) Holcomb, 87, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at 4:02 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Private family graveside services will be held in Wares Grove Cemetery in rural Butler with Bruce Holcomb of Hillsboro officiating.
Mrs. Holcomb was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Scottville, to the late Roland and Leona (Butcher) Stone. She married Edward E. Holcomb on March 15, 1952, in Girard.
She worked as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service.
She is survived by a child, Donna Ekiss of Springfield; two grandchildren, Susanne Osmonson and Dana Huff; four great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Ann Brewer, Albert Stone and Richard Stone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.
