Marie Osborn, 70, of Nokomis, formerly of Witt, died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at Nokomis Health and Rehab.
Cremation will be provided, and no public services will be held. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family.
Mrs. Osborn was born in Iowa on Feb. 26, 1953, the daughter of Doug and Christel (Menke) Tamosaitis. She married Fred Osborn in Chicago.
Mrs. Osborn lived a good portion of her life in Chicago before moving 20 years ago to the area and building a life with her family. She was a waitress and cook, had a wonderful work ethic, which she passed on to her family. She was a home body, loved animals, glass dolls, reading and going to the library. Mrs. Osborn was a typical mother and grandmother who loved to spoil her family, especially the grandchildren.
Mrs. Osborn is survived by her daughter, Holly Osborn of Witt; grandchildren, Kyler, Christel, Kalvyn, Kegan, Kay-Lee, Kamie, Kashton and River; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Garett, Journey and Mya.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
