Marilyn Louise Booher, 92, formerly of Schram City, died peacefully at home on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, in Bullhead City, AZ, after relocating there in 2017.

Mrs. Booher was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Bond County to the late Huey and Nettie Huffman. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1949 and married Alvie Booher on Feb. 11, 1952 in Carlinville. She was a longtime county resident, living in Schram City.
Mrs. Booher was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. After she retired from Illinois Consolidated Telephone Company, she and Alvie enjoyed line dancing and socializing with the many friends they gained throughout their travels.
Mrs. Booher is survived by her husband of almost 72 years, Alvie; two daughters, Carol (Dan) Hamacher of Los Lunas, NM, and Bonnie (Jimmy) Muir of Laughlin, NV; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
