Mark Allan Todd, 59, of Stonington, died at 9:51 a.m., on  Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at his home,surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., at the funeral home, with Chaplain Jan Dial officiating. CDC recommended guidelines will be followed, including masks and social distancing. McClure Funeral Home of Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Todd was born on Feb. 3, 1962, in Abilene, TX, to Norman and Sheila (Trelz) Todd. He married Audrey Pugsley on Oct. 16, 1993, in Pana, and they shared over 27 years together. 

Mr. Todd was a graduate of  Hillsboro High School. He worked in construction for 30 years, mostly for Kelly Construction, a job which he genuinely enjoyed. Mr. Todd always had a project going and enjoyed carpentry and doing things around the house. He was a devoted father, who loved playing outside with his kids, whether tossing a ball, playing soccer, fishing or camping. Mr. Todd was a dedicated fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys. He absolutely adored his German Shepherds, Nieko and Bailey, and there is no doubt they loved him just as much. He had a deep love for his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Todd is survived by his wife; children, Tabitha (Chae) Mills-Pugsley of Heyworth, Jason Todd of Litchfield and Justin (Mercedes Bryson) Todd of Bloomington;sister, Robin Hayes; brothers, William (Patricia) Oakley and Daniel Oakley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his step-father, Russell Oakley, who raised him.
