Marlene Kay Ferrero, 75, of Benld, died Thursday, April 15, 2021, at her residence.
No public services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld is assisting the family.
Mrs. Ferrero was born Sept. 3, 1945, in Litchfield, to Walter R. and Edna (Boehme) Jubelt. She married James K. Ferrero, Sr. on March 26, 1977, in Gillespie, and he survives.
A secretary for the State of Illinois, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gillespie.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jamie (Brandon) Wieschhaus of Poulsbo, WA; stepchild, James K. (Janet) Ferrero of Nokomis; grandchildren, Aurora Wieschhaus and Athena Wieschhaus, both of Poulsbo, WA; step-grandchild, Emelia Ferrero of Bloomington; sister, Phyllis (John) Ferrero of Benld; and sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Jubelt and Maria Jubelt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Jubelt, Richard Jubelt and Robert Jubelt; and a sister, Elaine Komnick.
