Martha G. Richmond, 90, of Hillsboro, died at 1:56 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at the Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Mark Noyes, of Hillsboro, officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Ms. Richmond was born on March 5, 1932, in Waynesboro, TN, to the late E.R. Davis and Ethel W. (Williams) Davis. She married Carroll J. “C.J.” Richmond on December 7, 1957, in Hillsboro, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 2010.
She had worked as a waitress.
Ms. Richmond is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann (LeRoy) Hartel of Schram City, Lonnie Dane Morgan of Butler, Judy DeLane (husband Charlie) Goad of Hillsboro, Terry Lee (wife Tammy) Richmond of Hillsboro and Betsy Jane (husband Don) Murphy of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Peggy Sue (Morgan) Joyce and Laura Kay (Richmond) Moler; and one sister.
