Martha Jean Funderburk, 80, of Litchfield, died at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital Litchfield.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m., until time of service, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Roy Eller of New Hope Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Crabtree Cemetery in Litchfield. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Funderburk was born on Sept. 30, 1939, a daughter of Walter E. and Ella Marie (Jonas) Mick. She married John Sylvester Funderburk on Feb. 28, 1956, he preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1988. In her younger years she enjoyed swimming and singing.
Mrs. Funderburk is survived by a brother, Kenneth Mick of Mt. Olive; and two sisters, Wanda Boerckel of Litchfield and Mary Goacher of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Walter Leroy Mick; and sister, Ruth Young.
