Marvin L. Stolte, 80, of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at 7:10 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Memorial services will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be at St John’s Cemetery in Witt, at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home of Hillsboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Stolte was born on July 9, 1939, in Hillsboro, to Martin J. and Lydia (Altevogt) Stolte. He lived in Hillsboro throughout his lifetime and was employed at Western Cartridge in Alton and Worksaver of Litchfield, where he made farm equipment.
Mr. Stolte is survived by his brother, Everett (Janice) Stolte of Irving; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Stolte of Irving.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Elmer Stolte and Melvin Stolte.
