Mary A. Wall, 73, of Greenville, died Dec. 25, 2019, at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Greenville.
Mrs. Wall was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Granite City, the daughter of Charles Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Stearns Buzick. She married Robert Wall on Dec. 23, 1966, at the family home, and they enjoyed 41 years together before his death on Jan. 6, 2008.
She grew up in Granite City and moved to Greenville early in life. She attended the Old Ripley school and graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1965. She worked for DeMoulin Brothers and Rebans. She was a CNA at Utlaut Memorial Hospital and the Bond County Health Department, where she retired in Dec. 2008. She and her husband were members of the Cross of Victory Church in Greenville.
Mrs. Wall is survived by two sons, Jerry D. (wife Angela) Wall of Greenville and Larry Wall of Missouri; nine grandchildren, Brandy Wall, Camden Wall, Abigail Wall, Austin Wall, Lucas Wall, Brett Wall, Elijah Martin, Aubrey Wall and Bailey Wall; two great-grandchildren;daughter-in-law, Jennifer Wall; and siblings, Shirley Mitchelar, Glenda Rensing, Julie LaFuria, Charles David Stearns, Lynn Buzick, Larry Buzick, Randy Buzick, Kenny Buzick and Ralph Buzick.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Gary; and siblings, Carl Buzick, Carol Ring and Janet Kennedy.
