Mary Blasko, 99, of Decatur, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at Randle House in Decatur.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Blasko was born April 9, 1920, in Coalton, to the late Mike and Katherine (Hudak) Blasko.

In 1970, she earned her GED. She was a homemaker, and was noted for her beautiful handwriting. She loved cross stitching, quilting and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur.

She is survived by her brother, Pete Blasko of Decatur; nephew, John (Mary) Blasko of Huntley; niece, Janet (Tom) Retelny of Batavia; and many loving great-nephews and nieces and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Steve, Mike, John; and sisters, Ann and Helen; and her niece Janet's  husband James.

Memorials may be made to St. Louis Catholic Church or St. Louis Catholic School, both in Nokomis.
