Mary Etta Loscher, 84, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 14, at Christ the King Church with the Rev. Christopher House officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery.Staab Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
Mrs. Loscher was born on Oct. 31, 1940, in Hillsboro, to Frank A. and Mary Frances (Clark) Roth. He married John J. Loscher, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2016. She was a dedicated nurse at St. John’s Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of Christ the King Church and she will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Loscher is survived by her daughters, Leah (Brad) McAllister of Springfield and Christina Ring of Chicago; sons, John Loscher and Bradley (Diane) Loscher, both of Springfield; grandchildren, Michael Loscher, Katie Loscher, Matthew Loscher, Adam McAllister, Andy McAllister, Alec McAllister, Sophia Ring and Helena Ring; and brother, Don Roth of Gulf Shores, AL.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
