Mary Kay Seymour, 97, of Albany, GA, died on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at Oaks at Oakland Plantation in Leesburg, GA.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 24, beginning at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA, with William D. "Biff" Coker officiating.
Mrs. Seymour was born Oct. 31, 1920, in Hillsboro, to John Fred and Lydia (Hebel) Zellmann. She married Robert Merrill Seymour, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, where she served as a member of the choir. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf and teaching Red Cross swimming.
Mrs. Seymour is survived by her children, Robert M. (Pat) Seymour, Jr. of Cocoa, FL, and Lynn Mashburn of Albany, GA; a sister, Hellen Smith of Brainerd, MN; grandchild, Amanda Autrand; and nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Zellmann; and a sister, Jean Griffith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mission Change, 308 Flint Avenue, Albany, GA, 31701, the Lutheran Church of Our Savior or the donor's favorite charity.
