Mary L. Sealey Danford, 79, of Nokomis, died on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
No services are planned at this time. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Ms. Danford was born Feb. 21, 1943, in rural Tennessee, to Luther and Patricia (Tipps) Sealey.
She went to school in Tennessee and eventually moved to Illinois.
A homemaker, Ms. Danford was a caring mother and friend to all. She attended church in Coffeen.
She is survived by her children, Heavenly Reed of Belleville, Leanna Green of Taylor Springs, Candy Green of Missouri and Johnathan Overturf of Nokomis; and several grandchildren.
Ms. Danford was preceded in death by her son, Will; and her parents.
