Mary Lou Waggoner, 92, formerly of Waggoner, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at 8:25 a.m. at Eastland Retirement Community in Auburn.

Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 27 at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Burial was at Bethel Ridge Cemetery in Atwater.

Mrs. Waggoner was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Morris, OK, the daughter of Ertle Morsel and Dena Olive (Rains) Edmundson. She married Joe LeRoy Waggoner on June 26, 1949 in Litchfield.

Mrs. Waggoner was a member of  Waggoner United Methodist Church and enjoyed flower gardening, doing crafts, and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies.

She is survived by her son, David (wife Deborah) Waggoner of Waggoner; daughter Karen (husband Larry) Kraus of Farmersville; daughter-in-law Jeanne Waggoner of Farmersville; seven grandchildren, DeAnn Waggoner, Diane (husband Ryan) Boyer, Brandon (wife Lindsay) Waggoner, Dane (wife Katie) Waggoner, Paul Kraus, Kayla (husband Steve) Miller, and Greg Kraus; and seven great-grandchildren, Kyle, Grayson, Evan, Bentley, Jackson, Abigail, Briar and Emmery.

Mrs. Waggoner was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; son Dennis Waggoner; brothers Claude Edmundson, Donald Edmundson, Jim Dale Edmundson and Joe Edmundson; and sisters Kathryn McLaughlin and Dorothy Mills.
