Michael Eugene Walz, 73, of Pittsburg, KS, formerly of Litchfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
No services are planned. Hough Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Walz was born June 30, 1946, in Litchfield, to Melvin L. and Claribel Ruth (Bishop) Walz. He married Patty Hall, and they divorced. He then married Maxine Satterlee, and they divorced. He later married Carol Varner, and she preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked as a truck driver.
In addition to his mother, Claribel Wiley of Litchfield, he is survived by his children, Carmen Larimore of Nebraska, Jason Walz of Raymond, and Kari Varner and Kevin Varner, both of Litchfield; a brother, Tom Walz of Raymond; and two granddaughters.
In addition to his father and wife, Carol, he was preceded in death by daughter, Lorie McDonald.
