Michael Lesley Allen, 54, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at 9:54 a.m. at his residence.
Public graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, beginning at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family.
Mr. Allen was born Sept. 26, 1966, in Litchfield, to Robert L. Allen and Valerie (Lockwood) Cordes. He married Jennifer Pitman, and she survives.
During his career, he served as an iron worker. He was a member of the Local 392 Iron Workers Union.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Allen is survived by his mother, Valerie (Rick) Cordes of Farmersville; children, Joshua (Lauren) Allen of White Hall, Joseph Allen and Lilian Allen, both of Litchfield; grandchildren, Emma Allen and Robert Allen; and siblings, Robert Allen of Gillespie and David (Sellie) Allen of Carlinville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
