Michael Wayne Robinson, 68, of Staunton, died on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at his residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 23, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Funeral services will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
Mr. Robinson was born Nov. 4, 1950, in Jonesboro, AR, to Luther and Faye (Parker) Robinson. He married Katherine Leadbetter on July 29, 1972, in St. Louis, MO, and she survives.
During his career, he worked as a crane operator at Laclede Steel in Alton for many years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Robinson is survived by two sons, Brian (Becky) Robinson of Litchfield and Mark Robinson of Staunton; two grandchildren, Sadie Robinson and Wyatt Robinson of Litchfield; three brothers, James (Wanda) Robinson, Bruce (Donna) Robinson and Rick (Tonya) Robinson; one sister, Claudia (Mark) Mathenia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Jesse Robinson.
