Mildred E. Vollmar, 88, of Glen Carbon, formerly of Bunker Hill, died on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at 4:45 a.m. at Eden Village Retirement Center in Glen Carbon.
Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 20, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. with memorial services to follow at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Vollmar was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Galesburg, to John Louis Borst and Mary Janet Anderson Borst. She married Virgil Vollmar on March 23, 1958.
Mrs. Vollmar was a secretary for the Bunker Hill School District. She was a pianist for the Gillespie Methodist Church and the Bunker Hill Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Vollmar is survived by her children, Ken (Amy) Vollmar of Springfield, MO, Gordon (Judy) Vollmar of Walshville and Neil (Trudy) Vollmar of Edwardsville; son-in-law, John Crane of Shipman; grandchildren, Johnna (Bob) Strader, Nick (Diana) Vollmar, Jake Vollmar, Matthew Vollmar and Abigail Vollmar; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson Strader and Knox Strader.
Mrs. Vollmar was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; and daughter, Janet Crane.
