Montgomery County 4-H Shows Start On Saturday

Montgomery County 4-H members are preparing for several shows Saturday, June 15 through Friday, June 21.

The visual arts show kicks off the week of shows on Saturday morning, June 15, at 9 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. The student shows continue on Monday, June 17. The cat show will be held at 4:30 p.m. with  check-ins scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. The dog show will be held at the Butler 4-H Park at 6 p.m. Dog check-ins will begin at 5:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, June 18, 4-H members will show poultry at Butler 4-H Park at 8:30 a.m. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. The rabbit show will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the park with check-in set at 10 a.m. On Tuesday afternoon, the 4-H beef show will begin at 1 p.m. at the Butler 4-H Park with animals to be checked in by 10 a.m.

Montgomery County 4-H and the Montgomery County Fair will co-host the annual sheep show on Wednesday, June 19, at Butler 4-H Park at 9 a.m. All sheep must be checked in by 8:30 a.m. The goat show will follow at noon. Goats should be checked in by 8:30 a.m. The shows will culminate for the month on Friday, June 21, with the swine show, which will be held at Butler 4-H Park at 8:30 a.m. All swine must be checked in by 8 a.m
