At the Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center, we strive to change our displays on a regular basis.
We are currently concentrating on three areas: the Litchfield Police and Fire Departments, the Litchfield Post Office, and the City of Litchfield.
If you have any items that you might share with us, we would certainly appreciate it. More specifically, we are hoping to gather pictures of the mayors who have served. We haven't been able to find a picture for C. Willard Peterson (mayor from 1949-1952), John Taylor (mayor from 1941-1944), or John Millhouse (mayor from 1937-1940). Any and all help would be appreciated.
You can call me at 217-248-5416 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you haven't stopped by your museum lately, please do so! We are currently operating under winter hours and are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thanks for the help!
