Naomi R. Weller, 86, of Litchfield, died on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A private family service will be held graveside, with Pastor Rudy Elam officiating. Litchfield Family Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs.Weller was born on June 26, 1934, in Litchfield, to the late Charles and Alta (Liby) Opel. She married Jack L. Weller on Jan. 1, 1955, and he survives.
After graduating from high school she went on to graduate from Lincoln Land Community College. Mrs. Weller worked at the Litchfield National Bank as a bookkeeper for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles and reading.
Mrs. Weller is survived by her sons, Tom (Anna) Weller of Springfield, Tim (Waneta) Weller of Thayer and William “Bill” Weller of Springfield; daughters, Candace “Candy” (Lou) Taylor of Litchfield and Cindy (Mark) Reed of Litchfield; grandchildren, Chris and Jeff Weller, Carly, Ruth, and Joseph Weller, Brandon and Jacob Taylor, Nick Reed, Greg (Ashley) Reed and Jeremiah “J.R.” Reed; great-grandson, Wesley Robert Reed; and brother, Paul (Lois) Opel of Worden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Mark; brother, Glen Opel; sisters, June Pape and Jean Hagemeier.
