Nathan Edward "Nate" Marquess, 59, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Nokomis, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY, of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Christian Cremation and Funeral Care in Hopkinsville, KY, is assisting the family.
Mr. Marquess was born April 9, 1960, in Palm Beach, FL, to Vincent and Elsie Lois (Thornton) Marquess.
He graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1978. He worked at Paris Frozen Foods before moving to Kentucky, where he worked as an electrician.
Mr. Marquess was a member of the Methodist faith and loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, coon hunting, fishing, going on road trips and visiting people. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Marquess of Evansville, IN; lifelong companion, Janice Davis of Hopkinsville, KY; three brothers, Charles Marquess of Hopkinsville, KY, Roy Marquess of Nokomis and John Marquess of Denham Springs, LA; and three sisters, Missy Vancil of Grover, NC, Elizabeth Durec of Chicago and Lydia Lucas of Boston, MA.
Mr. Marquess was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Timothy Marquess.
