Norma Lorene Harbaugh, 83, of Plainview, died at 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Heritage Health of Gillespie.
Visitation services will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the First Baptist Church in Gillespie, with Pastor Jared DePoppe officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville. Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Harbaugh was born on Sept. 13, 1936, in Lowder, to William Welcome Bettis, Sr., and Beulah (Waters) Bettis. She married Charles W. Harbaugh on Nov. 19, 1953, in Hettick, he preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1991.
Mrs. Harbaugh worked as an Avon Lady. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 55 years.
Mrs. Harbaugh is survived by her children, William Lester Harbaugh of Gillespie, Charles Edward Harbaugh of Arkansas, Douglas Lee (Michele) Harbaugh of California, Cheryl Ann Force of Benld, Jeffrey Kirk (Jenifer) Harbaugh of Litchfield and Charles Lee (Amber) Harbaugh of Gillespie; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, William Welcome Bettis, Jr. of Nilwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and spouse.
