Norman "Dale" Reindl, 93, of Ramsey, died Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his home in Ramsey.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Bayle City Baptist Church in Bayle City with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mr. Reindl was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Decatur, the son of the late Theodore Nelson Reindl and Alma Faye (Brown) Walstrom. He married Edith Mae McClure on Aug. 29, 1954, in Bayle City, and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2020.
Mr. Reindl worked as a machinist, retiring from Graham Packaging after twenty years. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member at Temple Baptist Church. Mr. Reindl loved Jesus and witnessed to everyone he met, and he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Reindl is survived by his sons, Steve (Judy) Reindl of Hillsboro and Tim (Cheryl) Reindl of New Berlin; daughters Cindy (Stan) Huber of Coffeen and Pam (special friend, David Swain) Kennett of Hillsboro and Angela Ohms of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren Danielle Lee, Kristen (Brian)Lee, Seth (Jessie) Huber, Saul (Jesse) Huber, Christopher (Jenn) Kennett, Justin (Savannah) Kennett, Josh (Cara) Reindl, Elisa (Mark) Sands, Kristi (Blake) Bywater, Kyle (Jennifer) Reindl, Evan Reindl, Chase Reindl and Landon Reindl; 24 great-grandchildren; brother Bob Reindl; and sister Janet (John) Fullmer, all of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; step-father Clarence Walstrom; great-grandson Simeon; brother Lee Reindl; and sisters, Barbara Brown and Nedra Henne.
