Oliver Knox, "O.K.", Donham, 91, of Litchfield died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at 11 p.m. in St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Litchfield. The Rev. Gary Schwab will officiate, and burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 4 until 7 p.m. in the Plummer Funeral Home, Litchfield. They are assisting the family.

Mr. Donham was born on Sept. 10, 1924, in Wichita, KS to Wickliffe and Gertrude Belle (Knox) Donham. A 1942 graduate of Jerseyville High, Mr. Donham was a WWII Army vet. He served in the European, African and Middle Eastern Theater, becoming a supply sergeant and earning the Purple Heart for injuries received in combat.

He and Agnes Winifred Ryan were married on Dec. 11, 1952, in Ferguson, MO; she preceded him in death on Aug. 22, 2005. He was also preceded by a son Kevin, who died on July 31, 1999.

He is survived by daughter-in-law, Debra K. Donham of Litchfield; two grandsons, Sean Donham of Litchfield and Chris (Laura) Donham of Clearwater, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He, along with his late wife and son Kevin, owned and operated Donham's Ladies Apparel in downtown Litchfield and Jerseyville for several years before retiring in 1990. A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Litchfield, he served on the Board of Elders there for several years. He was a longtime member of Litchfield Rotary, named as a Paul Harris Fellow, and was the 1990 Veiled Non-Profit.

He also served in several capacities with the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce and had been chairman of the Litchfield Red Cross Chapter. A member of the local color guard, he was a member of the Kneiry-Knagg American Legion Post #436. He had also served on the board of directors for the Lincoln Land Area Agency on Aging.
