The 24th Olde Tyme Tractor Show will take place this weekend, Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, at Lake Hillsboro Park.
The two day show is full of entertainment for all ages. The annual event features big tractor and lawn tractor games, free barrel rides for kids, antique cars, kids pedal tractor races, lots of shade trees and plenty of parking. The Luck and Buck Saddle Club will serve breakfast, beginning at 7 a.m., and lunch on both days of the event.
In addition to the featured events, patrons will have the opportunity to browse though various craft and flea market booths. There will also be multiple food vendors on-site including Oakley Concessions and Sweet Addictions. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. All registration is set from 9:30 a.m.
Saturday's activities will begin at 10 a.m. with the Tot-Rod Pedal Pull. The for-fun pull is open to children of all ages and is hosted by Paul and Stefani Callan of Assumption. The Tractor Pull will begin at 11 a.m., with registration to begin at 9 a.m. The Topper athletes will be on-site with the boy's sports teams competing against the girl's teams. Games start at 11 a.m. The cost is set at $5 per participant and all proceeds will benefit the Montgomery County Cancer Association. WSMI Sports Saturday Show will be live from the Olde Tyme Tractor Show beginning at 9 a.m.
Saturday's itinerary includes a big tractor parade at 11:30 a.m. and a garden tractor parade at 1 p.m. Lawn tractor and tractor games will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Kiddie pedal races will begin at 2 p.m. Following the pedal races, the lawn tractor and tractor games will resume.
Sunday's activities will kick off at 1 p.m. with tractor games. Children will have another chance to compete in the kiddie tractor pedal races at 2 p.m. Afterward, tractor and lawn tractor games will resume.
The Mid-State Collectors Club will raffle off two pedal tractors at the two-day event. Tickets will be sold one for $1 or six for $5. This year's tractors are both John Deeres, one green and one purple. The pedal tractors were donated by Bryan and Heather Ondes. Proceeds from the annual raffle benefit the Montgomery County Cancer Association. The drawing for the pedal tractors will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
