Patricia Clickener, 83, of Chicago, died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.

Family and friends met on Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Michael Church in Old Town, located at 1633 N. Cleveland Ave. in Chicago, for a visitation followed by a funeral mass. Entombment was held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Ms. Clickener was born in 1942 in Waukegan to Corwin and Josephine (Lestic) Clickener. She grew up in Harvel and went on to the University of Illinois.

Ms. Clickener had an extensive career in advertising with the Leo Burnett Company and later ran a private marketing consultancy working with several national brands.

Ms. Clickener having lost her hearing as a young adult, was an early adopter of cochlear implant technology. She was able to hear music for the first time in nearly two decades at the Chicago Symphony.

Ms. Clickener advocated for those with hearing loss through the Hearing Loss Association of America (formerly SHHH). She was a supporter of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to bring lifelong opportunities for others to make and appreciate music.

Ms. Clickener was a member of St. Michael of Old Town Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her wisdom, her love of life, her friendship and her sense of humor.

Ms. Clickener is survived by her brother, John R. Clickener; sister, Mary L. Stanton; sisters-in-law, Joan Clickener and Pat Clickener; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert R. Clickener.
