Pauline Mae Scott, 80, of Litchfield, died on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at 3:25 a.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 20, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Lee Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.

Mrs. Scott was born July 13, 1939, in Litchfield, to William Herman and Viola Belle (Hughes) Stockamp. She married Alvin Lemar Scott on March 29, 1958, in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2004.

During her career, she served as a waitress at the old A&W, The Gardens and Annex Cafe in her younger years, later waitressing at Ariston Cafe for 26 years, where she retired.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the Women of the Moose in Litchfield. When she was younger, she enjoyed bowling, and in later years, she loved playing Bingo and doing puzzles. Her favorite thing to do was taking care of her family and her grandchildren.

She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making dinner for her family and friends. At her house, there was always room for one more around the dinner table.

Mrs. Scott is survived by one son, Kevin Scott of Litchfield; two daughters, Brenda (Larry LeGrand) Scott and Karen (Mark) Viehweg, both of Litchfield; five grandchildren, Mark Viehweg, Jr., Jenna (Darren) Glore, Kaitlyn Doht, Abbie Scott and Trevor Viehweg; two great-grandchildren, Milo Glore and Lilia Doht; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Loren and Robert Stockamp; three sisters, Marian Gerl, Florence Furlow and Martha Weatherford; and one grandson, Mitchell Viehweg.
