Penny M. Lang, 72, of Springfield, died on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home in Springfield is assisting the family.
Ms. Lang was born March 29, 1948, to Wilbur and Virginia (McWilliams) Betz.
She retired from Hope School and enjoyed crocheting.
Ms. Lang is survived by her children, Tara (fiance Stephen Townsend) Hollo, Erin (Mark) Lancaster, Megan Lang and Jesse (Samantha Barnett) Lang; 13 grandchildren, plus one on the way; eight great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; sisters, Kathy Solomson and Debbie Sims; father of her children, James (Nancy) Lang; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, James “Jimmy” Lang II; and sister, Patty.
