Renee Kuethe, 57, of Witt, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, located at 4 E. Broadway in Witt. The funeral ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jay Martin officiating. Interment will follow the ceremony at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Nokomis.
Ms. Kuethe was born on March 24, 1966, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Wayne and Elaine (Broers) Kuethe. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Nokomis and graduated from Witt High School with the class of 1984. Ms. Kuethe went on to work for the Illinois Department of Revenue for several years, and then Graham Correctional Center until her retirement. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, but her greatest enjoyment came from camping with her friends at Nokomis Sportsmen’s Club.
Ms. Kuethe is survived by her sister, Diane E. Tester of Nokomis; companion, George Morse of Witt; nieces, Tricia Havera, Kara Dobyns and Kelsey Goldsmith; nephews, Chris Kuethe, Dan Tester and David Tester; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Roger Kuethe.
