Richard Dale Bray, 73, of Boyce, LA, died Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Mr. Bray was born June 4 ,1950, in Springfield, a son of the late John Robert and Edna Loraine (Walkington) Bray. He married June Snodgrass on May 8, 1976, and she survives.
He was a 1968 graduate of Lincolnwood high school, and attended Western Illinois University before entering the United States Air Force. Mr. Bray was an air traffic controller, retiring after 24 years. He then worked for the Department of Defense for 12 years. Mr. Bray enjoyed being with his family and loved all animals.
In addition to his wife, June, Mr. Bray is survived by his sons, William D. (Wil) Bray and Joel R. Bray; grandsons Gregory (Renee), Joshua and Zain Bray; great-grandchildren, Raiden, Rylynn and Rayna Bray, all of the Boyce, LA, area; sister, Nadine (David) Hitchings of Raymond; father-in-law Joel Snodgrass; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lorna.
