Robert G. Lentz, 86, of Hillsboro, died on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at 2:20 p.m. at his residence.
Cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Lentz was born Nov. 7, 1935, in Hillsboro, to William W. and Viola May (Adamson) Lentz, Sr. He married Betty O’Brien in Morrisonville, and they later divorced. He later married Nellie Mae Lilly in Arkansas, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 2018.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.
During his career, Mr. Lentz served as a truck driver.
He lived in Hillsboro, Arkansas and Harvel throughout his lifetime.
Mr. Lentz is survived by his daughters, Pam (husband Billy) Ernest of Springfield and Debbie (husband Dwane) Dugan of Harvel; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles E. Lentz of Hillsboro.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Lentz; and siblings, William W. Lentz, Jr., Rhonda Durbin and Floyd “Butch” Lentz.
