Robert Leon Miller, 53, of Hillsboro, died on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, at 11:08 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, from noon until the time of service at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Revisky officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield. Plummer Funeral Home of Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born on March 1, 1966, in Los Angeles, CA, to Robert Leon and Dorothy Jean (Willis) Miller. He was self-employed as a mechanic at Hillsboro Auto.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, traveling to Tennessee and Branson, MO, and buying cars to fix and re-sell. Mr. Miller liked to smoke meats on his smoker and grill out for his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Miller is survived by his companion, Carol List of Hillsboro; step-son, Zachary List of Litchfield; three step-daughters, Elisha (Andy) Revisky of Panama, Brittany Pollard of Litchfield and Lindsey (Jake) Harbaugh of Carlinville; brother, Terry Finley of Litchfield; sister, Linda Hanneke of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Kevin Pollard, Makenna Revisky, Cooper Revisky, Alaina Revisky, Gracie Pollard and Abeilene Harbaugh; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry and Harold Ray Finley; and a sister, Debbie Rice.
