Roberta “Bobbi” Elizabeth (Pullen) Dunn, 78, died at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Visitation will be held at noon on Saturday, June 3, at Grace Church St. Louis, located at 2695 Creve Coeur Mill Rd in Maryland Heights, MO. A Celebration of Life will start at 1 p.m. at the church in the Atrium Chapel. The service will be broadcast on Facebook Live. Chapel Hill Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs Dunn was born on Jan. 12, 1945, in Donnellson, to Robert and Julie (Bell) Pullen. The family moved to Hillsboro in 1954, when her parents built the Manor Motel. The family actively ran the motel until 1967.

Mrs. Dunn graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1963. She received the American Legion Award for citizenship as an eighth grade student at Hillsboro Junior High School. Mrs. Dunn was HHS homecoming queen in 1962 and ran as a queen candidate for Old Settlers her senior year of high school. She was loved and respected by her classmates, who said that their time together in the 50s and 60s was spent in a special place in a special time.

Mrs. Dunn was an IT educator and a whole food nutrition educator. She loved playing golf, traveling, watching romance movies, and encouraging others.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by her beloved husband, James Glenn Dunn of Crestwood MO; daughter, Shelly Dane Dunn of Tucson AZ; sister, Patricia Roseman; nephew Robert (Holly) Roseman; great-nephews, Daniel and Joe; and great-niece, Lydia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
