Roberta Kay (Naylor) Wright, 76, of Fillmore, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at 7:08 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Woodside Church in Irving. COVID-19 CDC guidelines will be followed, using masks and social distancing. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Wright was born Dec. 30, 1944, in Muncie, IN, the daughter of the late Ivan Walter and Uva (Bennett) Naylor. She married Virgil M. Wright on Oct. 17, 1965, at Woodside Church in Irving, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2020.
During her lifetime, she lived in Fillmore. She earned an associate’s degree and worked as an LPN at a long-term care facility.
She is survived by her children, Cassaundra (husband Lynn) Laurent, Kerri (husband Bill) Wilson, Lori (husband Tom) Lindsay, Virgil Wright, Jr. and April Wright; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Wright; and sisters, Patti Bainter and Wanda Van Matre.
