Roland E. “Bud” Hubert, 81, of Lawrenceburg, KY, formerly of Mt. Olive, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at his home.
A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, May 3, at the Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course in Lawrenceburg, KY. Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, KY, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Hubert was born on Aug. 4, 1941, in Litchfield, to the late Roland Hubert, Sr., and Elsie (Spearman) Hubert. He and his wife, Marilyn, shared 62 years of marriage.
Mr. Hubert was a retired plant superintendent with General Cable in Lawrenceburg, KY, and a US Army veteran. He was a member of the Anderson County Sportsman’s club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family meant everything to him, and he enjoyed spending time with them, making special memories.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hubert is survived by his children, Lance (Tina) Hubert, Paige Thompson, Shannon (Lucinda) Hubert and Wendi (Matthew) Etherington, all of Lawrenceburg, KY; grandchildren, Blake (Alyssa) Hubert, Sophia (Austin) Winlock, Will Thompson, Weslee Thompson, Canon Etherington, Jason Logue and Jesse Logue; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Jayce and Steele; siblings, Ron (Nancy) Hubert, Bob (Iris) Hubert, and Melody Hubert, all of Mt. Olive, Eric Hubert of Chicago and Susan Oller of Edwardsville.
