Ronnie E. Deal, 83 of Morrisonville, died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, at 9:14 p.m. at Pana Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pana.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Assalley Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Masonic Rites starting at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, starting at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Foster officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery in Morrisonville.
Mr. Deal was born on April 6, 1943, in Morrisonville, the son of Alvin Eugene and Elsie Lorraine (Puffenbarger) Deal. He was the past master of Morrisonville Masonic Lodge # 681, past master of Pawnee Lodge #685, present master of Virden Lodge #161 and member of the Ansar Shrine and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mr. Deal is survived by his sons, Matt (Jeanine) Deal of Pittsboro, NC; Phil (Teri) Deal of Morrisonville and Randall (Melissa) Deal of Algonquin; grandchildren, Alex (Ryan) McDowell of Morrisonville, Jordan Deal of Roanoke, VA, Austin Deal (Fiancée Madi) of Breese, Marissa Deal of Charleston, SC, Adam Deal (Fiancée Hannah) of Lexington, Kaylee Deal of Knoxville, TN, Alaina Deal of Columbia, MO, and Sienna Deal and Autumn Deal both of Algonquin; great-grandson, Oakley Deal; sister, Marilyn (David) Cramer of Taylorville; nieces, Sarah VanHuss and Maggie Meikle both of Taylorville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Pam Deal.
