Ronnie R. Rundle, 72, of Witt, died on Friday, June 12, 2026, at home.
Services were held on Wednesday, June 17, at the Christian Church of Witt with the Rev. Bill Cox officiating. Burial was at Witt Cemetery in Witt.
Mr. Rundle was a generous, wonderful man who loved his family, yard and not least of all, the St. Louis Cardinals. During his school years he was a standout athlete at Witt High School and kept his passion for sports until his final days.
He worked at Caterpillar for 40 years and build a beautiful home in Witt with his wife, Karen. He enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, doing yard work and going out for dinner. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Rundle is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Sheedy) Rundle of Witt; son, Cody (Heather) Rundle of Danville; stepsons, Jeff (Sarah) Webb of Morrisonville and Zach (Ashley) Webb of Carterville; grandchildren, Reese, Jade, Corinne, Cainan, Gabriel, Kingston, Isaac, Olivia, Gabby and Bella; sister, Vickie (Tim) Lipe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Eleanor (nee Dean) Rundle; and stepson, Gabriel Webb.
