Rosalyn Pellegrini, 90, of Nokomis, died on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, at Life’s Journey Senior Living Facility in Pana.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 5, beginning at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Nokomis. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Pellegrini was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Pana, to Leroy and Nita (Hartman) Perry. She married Julio Pellegrini in 1949, and he preceded her in 2014.

She graduated from nokomis High School in 1948. After high school, she worked as a telephone operator in St. Louis, MO, and Nokomis and as a seamstress at the Sheepskin Factory in Nokomis.

Mrs. Pellegrini served as a Sunday school teacher for many years at the Baptist Church in Nokomis. Her family was everything to her, and heaven has truly been blessed with a loving angel.

She was the proud mother of four sons, John, Perry, Rick and Jeff. Her legacy lives on through her two sons, Perry Pellegrini of Nokomis and Jeff Pellegrini of Big Bear Lake, CA; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Pellegrini was preceded in death by her parents.
